ADOPTED!Meet Princess our newest member to You Lucky Dog. She is a 5-year-old Australian Shepherd mix, who was brought to the Capital Area Humane Society in Columbus, Ohio, when her owners had to move and couldn’t take her with them. She is a member of our Special Adoptables Program as she has mild hip dysplasia which is not uncommon with a dog of her weight and size that will need to be watched going forward. She wants to be the only pet in the household and shows guarding behavior with her food bowl so would be best in a household with older children. She is part of our toy enrichment program and has her own set of specially-chosen toys to play with in her kennel in between her 3-4 daily walks.

ADOPTED!Shiney is a 6 month old Beagle mix that was found as a stray and transferred to theSan Fransisco SPCA from a shelter in Selinas, CA. Since he is still such a young guy, he has lots of energy, so he will need an adopter who has plenty of time to spend exercising him. He is a bit on the shy side, so he is looking for a patient new friend who will help him to come out of my shell. He would enjoy attending a reward-based training class so that he can learn lots of new things.
